Night of Praise at the Orphanage

Last night at the Orphanage we hosted a night of praise starting at 12.00 where we hosted MFM church & RCCG Amazing Grace.
The Arrows of God choir provided many songs and Pastor Theophilus and Pastor Viktor led the praise with Uncle Bright working as the MC.
We hope to have more nights of this kind in the future and maybe even with more people.
We hope to put up more photos from the night shortly.

Reception for the unveiling of the new kitchen

Today on the 12th of July the new kitchen which has been under construction for the past two weeks was unveiled by Chevron & NNPC who funded the project. They also repainted most of the buildings in the orphanage, redid the toilets, provided new furnishings throughout the orphanage including sofas and curtains and have suggested that they might provide internet access in the near future.
Below are a collection of photos from today's celebrations.

Outsiders views of the orphanage

This is a collection of posts made about the Arrows of God Orphanage by people who have visited it and volunteered there. Hopefully it will give a good impression of the orphanage as seen by others who have visited it in the past.

A blog post by an American woman who now sponsors the orphanage after visiting it.

A video posted by a group of women who came to visit the orphanage on behalf of the sponsors of the children.

One of the volunteers who came here two years ago from the UK posted this short article.
